Oxygen (98 per cent) (3098) Monograph has been officially adopted by the European Pharmacopeia during its 176th session, on 20 and 21 June 2023!
This new monograph will enable healthcare facilities to maintain strict control over the quality of on-site produced oxygen with a nominal content of 98.0 per cent (varying between 96 and 100 percent) utilizing a two-stage adsorption process.

After the publication in 2010 of the Oxygen (93 per cent) dedicated to oxygen produced by single-stage adsorption process, this new monograph acknowledges the most advanced on-site oxygen supply sources : a step forward for a better access to medical oxygen !
